USS Kanawha
The USS Kanawha was the lead ship of her class of replenishment oilers of the United States Navy. She was commissioned in 1915 and sunk on 8 April 1943 by Japanese aircraft off Tulaghi, Solomon Islands.
This dive is at the edge of recreational limits even at its shallowest point. Divers should have advanced certification and be prepared for limited bottom times unless they have decompression training and certification.
